- know traditional tales and stories of Maori tradition

THE ARTS - Developing ideas

- Investigate and develop visual ideas in  response to a variety
of motivations, observation, and imagination.

What did we do?

We read about the legend of Rangi and Papa together.

We then wrote our own retell of the story based on what we
could remember. After this, we looked at the artwork in the book
and created our own piece using crayon and dye.

We then read these out loud to show that we can use our
voice to share our writing.

• Something I really enjoyed about this was writing because
• i think i did it really well.

My next step will be to make it a bit smaller and to
ignore if something happens.

I showed the value of connect because i connected with my
learning and my work.
